On this important day of service, families are invited to stop by the Stackhouse Education Center to create Valentine cards that will be delivered to clients of SAGE Eldercare to brighten their day. This in-person drop-in event allows us to gather as a community in service of others.
We’ll provide all the supplies—paper, ribbon, yarn, and other recycled and repurposed materials—for you to create thoughtful, upcycled Valentine cards. You are welcome to stay and make your cards onsite, or take supplies home and return your finished cards to the Arboretum anytime before February 3 by placing them in the container outside the Stackhouse Education Center.
Reeves-Reed Arboretum honors and remembers the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by coming together to reach out and warm the hearts of our neighbors.
This is a drop-in event. Registration is not required.
