A Path For All

RRA's Accessibility Project

Our vision is to extend and enhance access to our historic gardens by completing the Arboretum loop and ensuring that pathways are navigable for everyone.

This reflects our commitment to openness, accessibility, and inclusivity, a legacy that started with Mrs. Reeves’s tradition each spring of sharing her private garden with the public to enjoy her glorious flowering daffodils, trees, and shrubs.

Charting our Path Forward

We are so excited to share with you the extraordinary news that, after considerable planning and preparation, we have officially launched, “A Path for All.” This important initiative reflects our deep commitment to enhancing the physical and experiential connection visitors have with the beauty of our Arboretum. Architectural plans include completing our continuous pathway loop, expanding accessible parking, and creating a new outdoor patio and educational space.

To accomplish our vision, we have embarked on a capital campaign to raise $1 million. Through the generous support of individuals, foundations, and corporations, we have already made significant progress towards our goal. But there is more work to be done. Please take a few minutes to review our plans, our progress, and how you can make a gift. We will continue to share updates with you and welcome you to come “see for yourself” in person or via virtual presentation opportunities posted on our social media and website. Consider how you can join us in charting our course for, “A Path for All.” If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Kondel, Executive Director, at j.kondel@reeves-reedarboretum.org.
