50,000 Reasons to Celebrate: Daffodil Day Festival Returns April 12, 2026
SUMMIT, NJ — A hillside of gold is about to bloom once again. On Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm, Reeves-Reed Arboretum welcomes the community for its annual Daffodil Day Festival — a signature spring celebration that transforms the historic Daffodil Bowl into a breathtaking tapestry of more than 50,000 blossoms.
As one of the largest daffodil collections in New Jersey, the Arboretum’s display signals the true arrival of spring in Summit. Visitors can wander through sweeping drifts of vibrant yellow blooms while enjoying a festive afternoon filled with hands-on activities, live entertainment, local vendors, and seasonal treats.
Festival highlights include spring-themed games and crafts, interactive story and history trails, live music, food trucks, and access to the Wisner House art exhibit. The beloved Green Goats from Rhinebeck will also return, delighting guests of all ages with their playful energy.

SUMMIT, NJ — Spring’s most anticipated celebration is back! Reeves-Reed Arboretum invites visitors to experience the vibrant beauty of its annual Daffodil Day Festival on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 11:00 am–3:00 pm.
With more than 50,000 daffodils in bloom, the Arboretum’s iconic Daffodil Bowl will once again be transformed into a breathtaking sea of gold. This spectacular display — one of the largest daffodil collections in New Jersey — sets the stage for a joyful day celebrating nature, community, and the arrival of spring.
Festivalgoers can enjoy a lively lineup of spring-themed games and crafts, interactive story and history trails, live music, delicious food, local market vendors, and access to the Wisner House art exhibit. A returning crowd favorite, the Green Goats from Rhinebeck will delight visitors of all ages with their playful personalities and charm.

Can’t attend on April 12? The celebration continues with Daffodil Days, running April 1–15 (excluding April 12), from 9:00 am–5:00 pm daily.
Visitors are invited to stroll the historic gardens at their own pace and experience the beauty of the Daffodil Bowl during peak bloom. To support the preservation of this treasured landscape, a $10 per person entry fee will be collected during Daffodil Days. Admission includes access to the Daffodil Bowl, the Arboretum’s scenic grounds, and the Wisner House art exhibit (open Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–4:00 pm, except when closed for private events). Members and children under 10 are free.
