The Nature of Glass - Part 2 Terrarium Planting: Saturday, February 9

The Nature of Glass:  A collaboration between Reeves-Reed Arboretum and The Morris County School of Glass
(For adults and children ages 8 and up)

Reeves-Reed Arboretum is excited to partner with the Morris County School of Glass to offer several programs together! It's a wonderful way to try your hand at glassblowing and create a beautiful terrarium.

Part 1: Glassblowing
Saturday, February 2 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at The Morris County School of Glass (89 Whippany Road in Morristown {Exit 1B off NJ 24W}).

Terrariums ... low-maintenance, space-saving and simply beautiful! These are just a few of the reasons why people love terrariums. Take the first step to making your own unique terrarium at the Morris County School of Glass. Learn to manipulate 2,100 degree molten glass into a glass vessel that will get transformed into a one-of-a-kind Terrarium. Your handmade glass bowl will become home to your new indoor mini-greenhouse!

Part 2: Terrarium Planting
Saturday, February 9 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Reeves Reed Arboretum (165 Hobart Avenue, Summit)

Now that you have your container, it's time to get dirty and plant it up at Reeves-Reed Arboretum! Learn about the different types of terrariums and what plants will work best. Select from a variety of succulents and cacti and other decorative items to create a unique garden masterpiece!
