This engaging terrarium workshop blends science and creativity through hands-on learning. Participants will explore the fundamentals of small-scale ecosystems, gaining insight into how light, moisture, and plant interactions support a balanced environment. Using live mosses and plants, participants will design and build a self-sustaining terrarium while learning about plant selection, design basics, and ongoing care. The workshop will meet in the Wisner House sunporch.
All supplies are included, and each participant will go home with a finished 5” glass terrarium and care instructions. No experience necessary.
The cost is per person. Registration is required, so be sure to register early as space is limited.
Member Price: $100 | Non-Member Price: $110
