Kick off the holiday season with a festive day of historic homes, holiday markets, and seasonal cheer!

Join Reeves-Reed Arboretum for a holiday day trip featuring two beautiful historic properties, each with its own unique character and traditions. Begin at Skylands Manor at the New Jersey Botanical Garden, a stunning Tudor Revival mansion, where you’ll enjoy a self-guided holiday tour and time to browse the holiday market. Lunch will be available for purchase at the Skylands Market.

Then, head to nearby Ringwood Manor, recently reopened following an extensive exterior restoration along with several interior restoration projects. Take a self-guided tour of the beautifully decorated manor during its Victorian Christmas celebration, then explore the holiday market and enjoy coffee and snacks available for purchase at the recently restored historic carriage barn.

Come along for a day filled with history, holiday charm, and time to enjoy the season!

Expected Itinerary:

9:00 AM – Board the bus at Reeves-Reed Arboretum

10:15 AM – Arrive at Skylands Manor; Self-guided tour, holiday market, lunch

12:30 PM – Board the bus

12:45 PM – Arrive at Ringwood Manor; Self-guided tour, holiday market, (weather permitting, explore the grounds), coffee and snacks

2:45 pm – Bus departs to return to Reeves-Reed Arboretum

4:00 pm – Arrive at Reeves-Reed Arboretum
