Ryan Hernandez Trio Band Summer Concert

Ryan Hernandez began his musical journey in Huntington Beach, California, studying under acclaimed blues musician Walter Trout. After moving to New Jersey in 2010, he became immersed in the New York metropolitan jazz scene, leading him to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center’s jazz program and the New Jersey Youth Jazz Orchestra, where he performed alongside artists such as Christian McBride, Jon Faddis, and Stefon Harris.

He graduated from the William Paterson Jazz Program in 2020 and earned his master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2023, studying with leading jazz musicians including Bill Charlap and Joe Lovano. Today, Ryan performs regularly across Manhattan at venues such as La Lanterna di Vittorio – Bar Next Door and Antique Garage, and recently held a residency in Brooklyn, continuing to make his mark on the New York jazz scene.

DETAILS: The grounds open at 6 p.m. for concertgoers to picnic. All Sounds of a Summer Night performances in the garden begin promptly at 7 p.m. Please bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. All concerts are rain or shine; no refunds. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors. Please check our website for updates.

REGISTRATION: RRA Members and children under 3 are FREE; Non-members $10/person, Students $5/person. Student tickets must be purchased at the gate. Registration for Family level members is limited to immediate family only. Individual and Senior members are entitled to one entry, and Dual Level members are entitled to two entries.
