Reeves-Reed Arboretum invites you to meet artist Susan Darwin, for an artist’s reception, October 19th, 2024, from 1-3 pm. Join the artist as she shares her insights and experiences in crafting her remarkable Location Series: The New Jersey Paintings. Experience the beauty and significance of New Jersey’s history and natural wonders through Susan’s eyes as she discusses the important landmarks, landscapes, and monuments featured in this body of work. From celebrated historical sites to hidden gems off the beaten path, Susan’s paintings offer a unique perspective of the Garden State.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with Susan Darwin and fellow art enthusiasts and gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry and heritage of New Jersey. Mark your calendars for October 19th and join us for an afternoon of creativity, exploration, and celebration. This reception is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided. Registration is recommended, but not required.

“Susan Darwin’s Location Series: the New Jersey Paintings” is on view through October 31, 2024. The Wisner House Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday 10 am – 4 pm, and open on occasional weekends unless reserved for a private event. Please visit reeves-reedarboretum.org/visit/ to confirm gallery hours.

All works are for sale, and the artists will generously donate 30% of each sale back to the Arboretum.
