Are you passionate about trees but don’t necessarily know a lot about them? If so, then this hands-on, beginner-level class is for you! In it, we will learn basic facts about trees, such as tree identification, how to determine the age of a tree, tree and leaf anatomy, the many processes of trees, what products come from trees, tree adaptations, and how trees communicate.
During our intimate look at trees, not only will your knowledge grow, but your appreciation and passion for trees will flourish as well.
The class will be a mix of indoor instruction and outdoor forest walks. Sunscreen, bug spray, and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Class will be held rain or shine, so come prepared.
*Light refreshments served.
