The Goats Are Coming!
The 'Green Goats' will be back in October!
Say Hi to the Goats
Say Hello to the Goats!
Our four-legged grazing crew is coming back to Reeves-Reed Arboretum this fall!
From Monday, October 8 through our Celebrate Fall Festival on Sunday, October 18, our goat friends will be hard at work munching their way through a year’s worth of wildflower growth, invasive vines, and weeds in the Daffodil Bowl. This natural, eco-friendly approach to vegetation management helps prepare the area for its annual restoration and replanting with bulbs—setting the stage for a spectacular display of daffodils next spring!
Stop by to say hello, watch them at work, and cheer on our hardworking herd!
Sponsor a Goat for $25!
Help support this beloved annual project by making a $25 donation to sponsor a goat this autumn. Your contribution helps bring these hungry helpers to the Arboretum and supports the restoration of our beautiful, historic Daffodil Bowl.
Thank you!
NOTE: When finalizing your donation on our donate page, please indicate in the SPECIAL NOTES box that this donation is for the goats so you can receive your “Certificate of Good Goatsmanship”!
