SANTA FE: through the lens of Marilyn Pfaltz
Through January 31, 2019

As part of our continuing community outreach, Reeves-Reed Arboretum, working with the Grand Summit Hotel, presents SANTA FE: through the lens of Marilyn Pfaltz. The images in this exhibit reflect Pfaltz's sense and sensibility to the space as well as to the heritage and tradition of the place. "The camera is a solo instrument. My eye behind the viewfinder searches for the decisive moment to 'push the click', to create visual choices that write a photographic story from my personal point of view," comments Mrs. Pfaltz.

Mrs. Pfaltz is an author/photographer whose books include Ocean Grove, a Photographic Essay, and How to Move Your Family Successfully. She has worked as a photojournalist for the Chatham Journal. Her works have been shown at the Woodman Gallery, Papermill Playhouse Gallery, New Jersey Center for Visual Arts, The Jacob Trapp Gallery, The Liberty Science Center, and the Salmagundi Club in New York City. She has produced a poster series which include the "Landmarks of New Jersey", the "Doors of Summit", "Looking into Millburn", and "Ocean Grove – God's Square Mile". She is a founding partner of P & R Associates which specializes in communication parts.

Artist reception will be held on Wednesday, September 12 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Hat Tavern.

The artist will donate 100% of all sales to Reeves-Reed Arboretum. For information about this exhibit, please contact Frank Juliano, Executive Director, Reeves-Reed Arboretum, at
