Garden Tales (for children ages 5-8)
Reeves-Reed Arboretum is excited to announce a new after school class: Garden Tales. Taught by Master Gardener and Kids Gardening Expert Denise Barth, this class will be an opportunity to connect to the natural world through gardening and literature. In this class we will read a garden themed book each week and do a take home gardening project related to the story. Children will acquire basic gardening skills, taste some of the things growing in the garden and go on a nature hike all in the beautiful setting of Reeves-Reed. Be prepared to get dirty and have fun!
Thursdays, April 16 through May 14 from 4:00 to 5:15 pm
