Birdscaping - Turn Your Backyard into an Oasis for Birds: Saturday, March 23

Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 am

Join us on Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 am as our Director of Education, Jackie Kondel, speaks on how to turn our yards into an oasis for birds all year long!

Birds prefer habitats that meet their three basic, all important, needs: food, shelter and water.  The more we provide these fundamental needs, the wider variety and greater number of birds we can attract.  Jackie will share with us plant and landscaping choices that will both hold a seasonal interest for us while providing the essential qualities that birds are looking for in their habitat.

This program will be held at Wild Birds Unlimited (2520 US Highway 22 East, Scotch Plains). To register, please contact Wild Birds Unlimited at

This program is a collaboration between Reeves-Reed Arboretum and Wild Birds Unlimited and is free to the general public.
