Daffodil Day: A Call to Action

In conjunction with Earth Day's 50th anniversary, this year's Daffodil Day: A Call to Action will focus on sustainable practices and simple changes each person can make to help the planet. Whether it is planting a pollinator garden, setting up a rain barrel or remembering to bring your reusable water bottle, we will have games and activities designed to be both fun and educational that will highlight ways to make a difference. Even the entertainment is green! Bash the Trash, a fun, interactive band that uses instruments made from recyclable materials, will be performing throughout the day. And as an added bonus, Green Goats, the farm that provides the goats for clearing the Daffodil Bowl every fall, are bringing some baby goats for all to meet and pet!

Pizza Vita and Bites & Bowls will be here so bring your appetite! Maple Magic and the Danish Baking Girl will also be on hand selling delicious treats while Frank Pickled Peppers will have his yummy salsa for sale as well.

Cost: Free for RRA Members and children under 3; Non-Members $10/person or $25/family.

No pre-registration is required.

Please consider walking or biking to Daffodil Day and enjoy the beauty of Summit by leaving your car at home. Bikers can avoid busy Hobart Avenue by taking quiet Hobart Road off of Whittredge Road, or Beacon Road and Ridge Road off of Fernwood Road. Extra bike racks will be on hand at the Arboretum.
