With Gratitude
Dear Friends,
As we move into the promises of the year before us, I want to take a moment to thank you all for the extraordinary outpouring of generosity during our recent Annual Appeal. Thanks to you, we surpassed our expectations for this campaign.
They say we experience over 30 benefits by expressing gratitude, and that a simple "thank you" can change your life. These benefits affect our emotional, social, personal, and physical lives, can make differences in our careers, and simply make us happier.
All human beings play a role in biodiversity, and that role comes with a core set of ethics. Remembering that we share this planet and that we have a responsibility to each other and to the environment, is in part, a daily expression and exercise of gratitude. This world is fragile, precarious, and miraculous. And we see Reeves-Reed Arboretum as much more than a place – it's a community. And for that wonderful sense of community, we here are truly grateful.
