Tending the Perennial Garden
There's always something to do in a perennial garden – pruning, pinching, staking, deadheading – but how do you know what to do when, and how on earth do you keep track of it all?! In this fun hands-on workshop, you'll use the Arboretum's Perennial Border as your classroom. By the end of the session, you'll have the confidence and know-how to tackle your own perennial garden at home!
Course will meet in the Wisner House; hands-on instruction will take place in the Perennial Border. Registration is required. Membership must be current on date of event to receive membership benefit.

In this workshop, Horticulturist Julieanne Frascinella will teach you how to prune roses in the summer when they're actively growing, and will lead a hands-on pruning session in the Arboretum's Rose Garden. This workshop is not to be missed!
