Grecian Windflower
Anemone blanda

  Deep blue to whitish pink

Flower Shape:
  Saucer or shallow cup

Season of Bloom:
  Spring

Range:
  Southeastern Europe, Turkey 

Description of Plant:
  This plant grows up to 6 inches tall. 
  It spreads from knobby tubers.

Interesting Facts:
  Although named a windflower,
  Anemones should be sheltered from
  the wind for best performance.
