New England Aster
Aster 'Harrington's Pink'
    

Flower Color:
  Pink

Flower Shape:
  Star-like compound

Season of Bloom:
  Late summer to mid-autumn

Range:
  North Dakota to New Mexico east
  to Vermont and Alabama
   

Description of Plant:
  The plant grows up to 4 feet tall.  It
   has lance-shaped green leaves
   about 5 inches long.

Interesting Facts:
  Aster is derived from the Greek and
  refers to the star-like shape of the
  flowers.
