2008 SUMMIT FARMERS MARKET The ever popular Summit Farmers Markets returns on Sunday, June 15 at Park & Shop Lot #2 on the corner of Maple Street and DeForest Avenue. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., rain or shine! Free parking is available in adjacent parking lots and on the street. This year the market will run until Sunday, November 23. The 2008 market features our “regular” farmers including Race Farm, Corner-Copia Farm, Cherry Grove Farm, and Vacchiano Farm. Other farmers include Hoboken Farms, PickleLicious, Valley Shepherd Creamery from Long Valley, and Shore Catch, which again be offering super-fresh seafood caught at our own Jersey Shore. Along with Brownie Points Bakery who returns for their second year and Stefans & Sons, this season will offer some new purveyors, including Coffee Afficionado, Key Ingredient Catering and Jakey + Rachie. Sponsored by Summit Downtown, Inc., plan on stopping by for wonderful fresh fruits, vegetables, field flowers, herbs, baked goods, artisan breads, specialty foods, cheeses, fish and seafood plus a lot of fun.
