Daffodil Day Is In Bloom,  Saturday, April 26, 2008

Help the Arboretum welcome spring. Join us on April 26 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm for Daffodil Day. Enjoy the splendid display of 40,000 daffodils in bloom that has become a signature annual horticultural event at the Arboretum.

The Summit Garden Club will sponsor a plant sale and mini lectures on horticulture topics. Come learn about composting, sharpen your tools, get ideas on container gardening and more.

There will be children’s activities, so Mom and Dad can browse the plants for sale or take a stroll in the gardens. Don’t miss this fun day for the whole family. Proceeds from the Plant Sale will benefit horticultural programs at the Arboretum.

Bruce Lorenz of Lorenz Fine Photography will be available for casual portraits near the daffodil bowl. Call RRA to sign up at (908) 327-8787.
