FALL OFFERING (October - December)

A Tree's Life (grades 1-3)

Take an in-depth look at the life of a tree while we investigate the different stages of a tree's life cycle.  Learn, with props, about the parts of a tree beginning with a seed and how it travels.  Find out what a "tree cookie" is, and how it reveals the past history of the tree

SPRING OFFERING (May - June)

The Magic of Monarchs (grades 1-4)

Learn about the fascinating life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly and take a look at live caterpillars at work.  Metamorphosis and migration are discussed; observation and journal writing are stressed.  (Rearing cages with livestock are available for the class room for an additional fee.)
