Union County College is offering two summer
programs at Reeves-Reed Arboretum.
Designing Four Season Gardens
Wednesday, June 11, 7:00 – 9:00 pm AND Saturday, June 14, 9:00 – 11:00
am.
Learn to create a garden that can provide year round beauty through all seasons. This class will focus on selecting the right plants to provide an attractive display throughout the year. We’ll look at incorporating interesting plants from a design perspective and how to design a year round beautiful garden.
Cost: $90.
Container Gardening
Wednesday, June 25, 2008 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Learn how your patio, balcony, deck or doorstep can become a work of art and add beauty to your surroundings, or can become a functional herb and vegetable garden. There will be a discussion on carefully selecting plants that do best in containers, and you’ll be on your way to creating a beautiful and functional work of art. Plant materials provided. Bring your favorite container.
Cost: $75.
